Selfish Gene Café is located in a shophouse at 40 Craig Road. A cosy, functional space owned and helmed by Chef Gene Mok. Staying true to his philosophy of ‘not serving anyone food that he would not eat himself’, Chef Gene’s guiding principle is to serve simple, uncomplicated dishes made from fresh, quality ingredients. His quest to make as many ingredients as possible from scratch appeals to today’s generation of healthy diners and shows his commitment to be responsible for the food he serves. From breakfast to lunch specials and tantalising homemade cakes, Selfish Gene Café aims to be choice eatery for those looking for good eats.
